Grand Island lies in the Niagara River between New York and Canada. It's easy to get to Niagara Falls, Toronto(Canada), Buffalo. There is a beach and two boat docking facilities. We have good schools and low crime. We really enjoy living here and would probably stay for retirement except our taxes in New York State are too high and our state government is extremely dysfunctional. I love Grand Island buy I do not love New York.....
